Simpson Strong-Tie is one of Habitat for Humanity’s Legacy Partners, supporting our work for the past 14 years across various capacities and continuously evolving to best advance our mission. This year, the partnership is taking a pioneering direction by funding trades-based learning programs through multiple affiliate grants. These grants prioritize affiliates serving veterans and BIPOC communities, offering workforce development opportunities to vulnerable individuals. At the same time, this initiative strengthens affiliates by enhancing organizational stability and financial resiliency through program participation in home construction, addressing the nationwide shortage of skilled labor.
