Our homes are built with volunteer labor at an average cost of $75,000 to $120,000 and are sold to our qualifying families with an affordable, no-profit mortgage. Financial support also comes from caring individuals, businesses, religious and civic organizations, and foundations as well as from our ReStore.

To qualify for a house, families must have an income between 35% and 80% of the area median income for Georgetown County, have the ability to repay a 30-year affordable mortgage, and be willing to complete 200 or 300 hours of sweat equity with Habitat. We are dedicated to a non-discriminatory family selection policy and follow all federal Fair Housing Act regulations.
